Thank you for this. I’m in my 20s and have recently filled my life with spacing out (so it’s nice to see someone else agrees with me). I dropped all social media 3 years ago after struggling with bouts of high anxiety offset by bouts of severe depression. Now I take public transportation to work 30 min each way. I don’t sit on my phone. I just put my sunglasses on and stare out the window or stare at everyone else on their phones and just sitting there and I look forward to these moments every work day.
