The Darkness In America And Across the World Isn’t Growing, It’s Seeping Out From Where We’ve Buried It
We must acknowledge all that has come before us.
Yesterday, a terrible mass shooting took place in Texas. I was about to type, “the worst mass shooting,” but the truth is that every mass shooting is equally terrible and equally the worst.
Many of us are crying out at the universe, “Why is this happening?! What the FUCK is going on?”
And then we ask, feeling completely helpless, “What can I do about it?”
It is in these moments that your light is needed the most.
I cannot explain the unexplainable but I can share my view. I can share my heart. I can share the duality that is love.
A Long Time Coming
With more and more frequency, these explosions of pain resulting in the death and injury of innocents are occurring.
This darkness is too big to be quantified. It plagued our ancestors and the generations before us but they didn’t have computers and iPhones and live-action media.
Our ancestors lived in obliviousness to atrocities against humanity most of the time.
